The KoWey GmbH is an international acting enterprise founded in February 2007 by the two engineers Friedrich W. Kost and Claus Weyhofen. Both owners providing a fast experience in the world wide cement industry while previously working in the bulk material handling over decades.

In February 2012 both owners founded the first daughter company KoWey Conveying Technology Engineering Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore, India. KCT Engineering serves the Indian sub-continent with KoWey products and supports KoWey in the field of engineering services.
